The Betbom team had won a 2–0 win over Team Liquid in the first lower-bracket final, courtesy of 42- and 29 minutes of victory over Red. The victory on Friday won the Beatbom team’s 2–1 victory for the team Liquid in the upper-bracket semi-finals.
Sixteen teams started the Dota 2 competition on 21 June, with the top eight group stage to go ahead in double-elimination playoffs.
