Pittsburgh Penguin on Wednesday nominated Dan Mouses as his new head coach, making him the second youngest bench boss in the league.
Music has been an NHL assistant coach for the last five sessions, including the last two with New York Rangers. At the age of 42, Muse has been consumed as the youngest head coach in the league only by Ryan Warsophski (37), head coach of San Jose Shark.
This will be the museum’s first head coaching job in NHL. Conditions were not issued by Penguin.
“During this process, we met with many candidates, which we realized that the next head coach of the penguin would be a fit, but finally, Dan Museum stood out as the best option. Dan had his ability to develop players, won at all levels, where he was coaching a head coach and his consistent success in NHL,” Penguins President’s President’s President said.
Muse replaced Mike Sulivan, who participated in a manner with Penguins in late April. Sulivan was hired by Rangers after days.
From 2017-20, an assistant coach along with Nashville hunters also served as the head coach of Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League (2015-17). The museum has a head coaching experience with USA hockey.
Dabas also noted the success of the museum in leading penalty kilt units for both poachers and Rangers.
