According to BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla, a call on IPL 2025 will be taken on 9 May.
“We are organizing a special train close to Dharamasala to bring everyone home safely. The match has been closed so far and the stadium has been evacuated. We will take a call on the future of the tournament based on tomorrow’s situation. So far, the safety of the players has great importance. The match cannot continue due to the position tonight. BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla told the Times of India.

Earlier, PBKS vs. DC match started an hour late due to rain, and there was further disruption. The incident occurred in the 11th over of Punjab’s innings, when opener Priyanus Arya was rejected, and both teams had to return to the dressing room.
