Paul scans, look to find Slamping Pirates Footing vs. Card

Pittsburgh Pirates will turn to Ace Paul Scan to try to lose their longest for the last season when he visited St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night.
Schins (3-3, 2.74 ERA), one right-handed, will oppose the left-arm Matthew Libertor (2-3, 3.44) in the second competition of the three-game series.
Cardinals won their third direct win after overcoming the first two-run deficit in the 6-3 win on Monday.
The struggling Pittsburgh has lost five out of five consecutive consecutives and dropped eight out of its previous nine.

The nine career appearances (five beginnings) against Libertor Pittsburgh have 1-3 with 6.51 ERA. He gave five runs in 6 1/3 innings of 8-4 defeat to Pirates on 7 April.
