Thielen turned 35 years old before the opener of the panthers season.
“It could be, yes,” Thielen said, when asked if he could enter his last NFL season. “I told you at the end of the season, like every year, you look back and say,” Hey, what is this game left? ” I talked to my family, and they wanted me to play.
“Not going to think about him right now. I am going to focus on being the best football player, which I can probably be, and you should have that mindset in this league. And then once the season is over – evaluate – evaluate, see where we are, see where the team is, see where I am personally and as a family.
On September 22, Panthers’ 36-222 win over Las Vegas Reders, Thielen recalled seven matches in the previous season last season after maintaining a hamstring injury to reel to reel at 31-yard touchdown reception.
He finished 615 yards away with panthers with 62 targets and 48 catches with five touchdowns (all start) in 10 games. He played with Minnesota Vikings from 2014-22.
The two-time Pro Bowl selection has 685 receptions for 8,311 yards and 64 touchdowns in 162 regular-season games (128 start).
