
Palmirus and FC Porto played 0–0 in the group phase of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The competition was played before the declared crowd of 46,275 at the Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
Palmirus enjoyed a slight edge in playing, recorded 19 shots and set six on the target, while FC Porto responded with 14 and two respectively. Brazil’s side was more physical team, as they were whistled for 21 fouls, while compared to 12 for the Portuguese side.
Palmiras threatened in additional time, but could not beat FC Porto goalkeeper Claudio Ramos, which was credited with four savings. In the 92nd minute, the head of the box was blocked the head of Lucas Evengelista from the center of Ramos and Rafael Weiga, a minute after the range, a minute after the goal was blocked before leaving the high and wide right.
Palmeiras Netminder Weverton made three stops in the competition.
Palmiras captured 48 percent of the match, while FC Porto responded to 44 percent.
