Pakistan Super League went out of the country; This step was taken to protect foreign players

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has led to transferred the remaining of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to Dubai to Dubai, following the security concerns raised by foreign players due to increasing tension between India and Pakistan. PCB president Mohsin Naqvi attended an emergency meeting and all six franchise representatives attended, the concerns expressed by foreign players were presented and eventually motivated the decision to move the league out of Pakistan.
In a letter to the franchise in a letter, the PCB told in a letter, “Keeping in mind the safety and mental health of all the players in PSL, the league has been transferred to Dubai, where the remaining matches will be held under a new program. Foreign players will be flown to Dubai early Friday.”
“The meeting saw the option to move the remaining eight matches-for the four leagues and several play-off-karchi but foreign players were not ready to live in Pakistan after security concerns from many countries,” sources said.
Thirty -seven foreign players are included in the league. From England, Sam Billings, James Wins, Tom Curan, David Willy, Chris Jordan, Tom Kohaler-Cadmore and Luke Wood are part of PSL.
David Warner, Michelle Owen, Riley Meredith, Ben McDermot, Max Bryant, Ashton Turner, Sean Abbott and Ben Dwarshuis are from Australia, while New Zealand’s Finn Ellen, Deril Michaeli, Michael Bracewell, Kolon Munro, Mark Chapman, Tim Safart, Kail Jeman and Kail are also there.
Other people include West Indians Kail Meirs, Jason Holder, Alazari Joseph, Akil Hosin and Shai Hope, Bangladesh Rishad Hussain and Nahid Rana, USA’s Andrees Gaus, Sri Lankan Kusal Mendis and Kusal Prara, Mohammad Nabi and Najbulh Zadiz of Afghanistan, Jadbia Raza and Namibia David Visay.
England’s Willy and Jordan have already arranged their return to Dubai, when their team Multans failed to reach the play-off, while Australian and New Zealand players are not ready to live in the country.
