Pagi Beukers, to measure the success of 2025 in terms of development of wings

On Thursday, when asked about what he had enjoyed by being a member of Dallas Wings, Page Beukers said the easy answer was, “Everything.”
The Beukers said during a conference call, “Just people here. Coach Chris (Cocense) talked about how success is getting success, but you want to find great people first.” “I think they have done a great job from top to bottom that find people with whom it is easy to work, easy to work.”
Bueckers are ready for the beginning of their WNBA career, which officially begins on 16 May when Wings hosted the boukers’ hometown at the opening at night and hosted none other than Minnesota Links.
In the 2025 WNBA draft, Uconn Star and No. 1 Pick can play a major role in reviving a Dallas franchise that missed the playoffs with 9-31 records in 2024.
Bueckers said that the city and the franchise have been in the city in a few weeks since the draft on April 15.
“It is fun to know new people and build new relationships within the organization,” he said.
Bueckers were brought into an organization that has not won the WNBA title since 2008, when it was known as a Detroit Shock.
But turning around a franchise, who posted his worst win percentage in just 13 years, begins with the same step, and the Beucers sees his development as a player tied to the development of the organization around him.
“Success, being a great team partner, being a great leader, is trying to be better every single day,” said the bekers. “A lot of learning, asking a lot of questions. And just being here, being present with the team. We are all trying to grow, we are all trying to be better. … We are installing the foundation for what we want to look in future, so success is getting the best every day.”
Ketleen Clarke also enters the WNBA even after a year of taking the league from the storm, which takes a wife of fans and inhibitors alike. As a back-to-back number 1 draft pics, they are obliged to compare each other, but the beukers stated in an recent interview that “narrative-driven” assessments do not portray the entire photo, as they both do not play the same styles despite being guards.
Bueckers will share a backcort with veteran wings shooting guard Eric Ogunbole, who has got 20.6 points per game and 3.9 in his six -year Dallas career. Ogunbole called the Beukers one of the best players to come out of the college game.
Ogunbole said, “These have enjoyed playing with him in these last few weeks, and it continues only to be better, but I’m excited about the future.”
Kokalan has a new coach at the top of the food chain, which replaced Latricia Tramel after serving as an assistant coach for Southern California in 2023–24.
“We are not trying to quit any step,” Coclans said on Thursday. “We are talking a lot about the balance of patience, and it goes to talk about our connections on the floor and our relationships to be patient.
“You don’t want to force anything – they are going to grow over time – and at the same time, with urgency. … It is always a balance, but I am encouraged by this team and the way they are behaving with each other and are honoring each other and how are it coming together.”
