In tossing the 14 1/3 scorer innings during its first two MLBs, San Diego Padress right -handed Stephen Colec has reduced his claim at a rotation spot below the road, even if you are going to come out of the injured list.
Kolek has a chance to make another statement on Friday night, as well as reminds the visiting Seattle Meriners what they could have, when the teams open the three-game weekend series.
After a rule 5 picks out of the Seattle Organization in December 2023, Colec sidelined him for the remaining 2024 with 3–0 in 42 relief appearances for San Diego with 5.21 ERA.
Kolek (2–0, 0.00 ERA) was cultivated for Triple-eel Paso in this spring, but was called on 4 May when San Diego needed a starter. For the first time in the 4–0 win in Pittsburgh, 5 1/3 innings came, followed by the 21-0 route in the 21-0 route in Colorado, on Saturday night, the first shutout was done by a visiting pitcher in the course field since a full-game five-hitter, Clayton Karshaw on Saturday night, as it was done in 2013.

While Kolek tries to keep his role running, Seattle will probably turn to Logan Evans (1-1, 3.60) and hope that he can find some stability. He was last going to five innings in a decision on Saturday night during his team’s 6-3 loss of Toronto.
Evans, in their third big-league, a crook, in the beginning, made two walks and three strikeouts with five hits and three runs. Bulpen left the tying run with a 3–2 lead before coughing, which he rode, then lost the game in eighth place for three runs.
It was part of a thick house for mariners, swept away by Blue Jais and then two of the two dropped into New York Yankis. He lost the series Finale 3–2 on Wednesday when Aaron Judge arrived in Karlos Vargas for the win-win Homar at the top of the eighth innings.
