If the weekend is an indication, it may be the time that there is a time to worry about a limited number of Manie Machao on the bed of Homer.

Macdo, who has done at least 28 homes to at least 28 homes in each of the last nine full sessions, entered Atlanta with just three in the ninth innings on Friday night. Before he launched a game-winning Homer from Raisel Iglessius, then on Sunday, San Diego Padres’s 5–3 victory was sealed on Braves with an eighth inning shot.

Padress Hope Machao continued to hit the long ball on Monday when he opens three-game series against Miami Marlins.

It is not that Machao has been unproductive in the plate. He hit 14 straight games before this season, which was the second longest line of his career, and is batting with five homes and 23 RBI. But there was something surprising about the lack of homeers.

Machao responded lightly after the game of Friday night.

“I am at speed,” he laughed, reminding the questioners that he had five in the last season and ended with 29.

Opening Day Starter Michael King hit the injured list, San Diego may need to produce more than a crime that mostly struggled during the recent six-game losing streak before showing signs of life on Sunday.

It also included the second basman Jake Kronthanworth, who drilled a single homer in the right area in the seventh innings and tied a 3-3 tie. After this, he doubled one of the right field wall in the ninth.

“Obviously, it was a long road trip,” Krronwarth said, “But we played terrible (Sunday) and I am eager to go back to San Diego.”

Right-arm Randy Waskes (3-4, 3.49 ERA) get balls to open the series. He is coming to Toronto to lose 14–0 on Wednesday night, where he allowed two runs on four hits in 4 2/3 innings, with no walks and four strikeouts.

He once faced Miami in his career, in the 2023 game, New York Yankis came out of Bulpen and won after scoring two runs in 3 2/3 innings.

Meanwhile, Marlins gave a 3–0 win over Los Angeles Angels on Sunday, below Interstate 5, a bus traveler smaller than Orange County, below Interstate 5. Edward Cabrera hit 10 batsmen in 5 2/3 innings to win, and Xavier Sanoja knocked in one run to open the scoring, then a double couple and scored in the fifth.

Cabarera’s outing came one night after first-year manager Clayton McCulo pulled the veteran Caltrill in the fourth innings of a game, in which his team carried forward 1-0. Miami won 6–2, excluded the move, thank you for five good innings from Bulpen.

“I don’t know if this is going to be a recipe, something that we are going to see every game,” said Macul.

The Miami series opener will take out former Padres Pitcher Ryan Weather (1-0, 1.80). The left-handed batsman last worked on Tuesday night during his team’s 14–1 defeat, including a run on five hits in five innings, including no walks and four strikes.

Vathers lost their only previous beginning against San Diego, with five runs on five hits and five runs in 3 1/3 innings in the defeat of 6–2 to 6–2 on August 5, 2023.
