Padress 21-Run, wears Rocky in 24-Hit attack

Gavin Sheets crushed a two-run homer in the first innings to spark the 24-Hit attack of San Diego, and San Diego Padress rooted Colorado Rockies 21–0 on Saturday night at Denver with a recession.

Fernando Tatis Junior, Xander Bogaerts, Jake Cronenworth and Jason Helard were also hooked. Jackson Merrill had four hits, and Elijus Diaz and Louis Arrayz had three hits to help Stephen Colec (2–0), who threw a full game shutout in their second major league start.

In 2024, Kolek, who appeared in 42 matches as a crook reliever, gave five hits and hit seven. His only tension came in the sixth innings when he was first and third in Colorado, but he got Hunter Goodman to hit an inning-ending double play.

Padress set a season high for the run and hit for the second straight night after a win on Friday 13–9 at Denver on 16 hits. Each situation player, except for the reserve left fielder Brandon Locker’s (0 for 1), made at least one hit on Saturday, and there were more than one in eight.

Colorado has dropped eight in a row, including five directly at its homestand ending on Sunday. Rockies has been dropped from 63–18 in five matches.

Padress first jumped to the lead. Tatis and Manny Machao placed two runners out with one. Merril chased with an RBI single, Bogrts loaded the hideouts with an infield hit and Machao scored on a wild pitch.

Krronworth’s groundout brought another run and sheets beat 439 feet homer 5–0 to hit a 439-foot homer in the stand.

San Diego faced one run in the second on Errez’s RBI single, then Krononworth moved beyond the third, and the fourth end Heword’s three -run homer ended the Bradley Blackon’s night. Blalock (0-2) allowed 12 runs on 13 hits in 3 2/3 innings, so that he could hit his era from 8.03 to 12.94.

In the fourth, Padress continued to add runs against Juan Meeja. Diaz Gaya, Tatis did a single, both came home on Array’s triple, and they scored on Macdo Single.

San Diego’s eight -run innings was one season high, as there were eight hits in the fourth.

Tatis hit a three -run explosion in the fifth, his team capted the nineth part of the season with a four -run frame opened with the homer of Bogrts.

Colorado Cachar Jacob Stallings picked in the last two innings and scored a run on two hits with no walk and a strike.
