Paase Bakars Wings Career vs. links as ‘full-circle moment’ opens the links

Paige Bueckers Growed out of the Miniapolis -Badhi, where she shone in basketball and praised Minnesota Links.
Now, Bueckers are going to start their WNBA against the team that she was watching. Dallas Wings selected him with the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft, and he is eager to start his career on Friday night, when teams tipped in Arlington, Texas.
“It’s super irony,” said Bueckers. “Life actually comes the full cycle, and God works mysteriously. But just here a new team, a new city, hugging a new organization, and then the opening game is against the dynasty that I saw very growing, (this a) is actually a full-cycle moment.”
Dallas hopes that Bueckers can give a shock to a team that went to 9-31 in the previous season. She joined a backcort, with Erik Ogunbole, a second place in the WNBA last year, with 22.2 points per game.
Meanwhile, Minnesota wants to build a stellar campaign in which it went 30–10 during a regular session and reached the WNBA final, where it lost five matches against New York Liberty.
Links coach Cheryl Reve said that the success of the previous season would not promise to be taken in this season. He told his players that if they want to take another shot in a championship, they would have to earn it.
Reeve said, “That’s what we talked about the first day (training camp).” “Each recurrence of links is different. Things change. Life hits people. There are many reasons that things are not exactly. So you have to find out what this team is.”
Some will debate the talent of Minnesota. Nefeesa Kolier led Links with 20.4 points and 9.7 rebounds in the previous season and run the runner-up for the league MVP. She is coming back to lead a team that has depth and experience.
“Pressure is (this season),” Kolier said. “The pressure is to know what we are able to do. But I have always said that I like pressure. I think it helps you to perform your best self.”
Bueckers number 1 may feel pressure to live up to their position as the overall pick, but will get support on the wings. Some new faces include Dijonai Carrington-the Connecticut Sun traded in Dallas after an average of 12.7 points and 5.0 rebounds and wnba the best player-and Mysha Hines-Ellen, who won the average of 7.8 points and 4.7 rebounds in the previous season with Washington Mistics and Lynx.
