Manager Oscar Pareja will try to help Orlando City to extend his unbeaten run in Saturday night’s match at CF Montreal after receiving a three -year contract expansion this week.

Pareja is with Orlando City (3-2-3, 12 points) in his sixth season, with which he won the 2022 US Open Cup and led the performance of five consecutive MLS Cup playoffs to the club.

He is still looking for his first MLS Cup title, although this year’s team shows signs of being a contender.

Martin Ojeda and Marco Pasalik have four goals, and Louis Muril has three. And even without scoring in back-to-back competitions, Lions still extended their unbeaten run to five matches (2–0-3).

“I am very grateful with the opportunity to continue in the club that I like and a place I am so comfortable and feeling that I am still helping and useful,” said Pareja. “We think we are going in a good direction. So I hope more. Because the final goal is in our mind, and we know what our fans are.”

Meanwhile, CF Montreal (0-6-2, 2 digits) is already starting after participating with manager Laurent Cortois and establishing a supporting Marco Donadel in the role on an interim basis.

Prince Ovsu is Montreal’s top scorer with two goals. The club has only four goals through eight matches-coming on seven roads-and in the previous weekend, Charlotte launched his home expedition with 1-0 shocks for FC.

But that defeat brought high amounts of opportunities in the third match under the guidance of Donadale at least, and perhaps the reason for some hope.

Captain Samuel Piet said, “It is encouraging for the way we played, the way we controlled the game is what we wanted to do.” “We lost that game because we lacked finishing, but there was a possibility that there were disappointing.”
