NWSL: The match should end after the player’s fall

The National Women’s Football League on Friday admitted that the last weekend match should have ended after a player fell on the ground.

NWSL made a statement to ESPN on Friday to handle things differently in future.
NWSL said, “Our protocols were reviewed and how they were implemented, and in hearing the response from our stakeholders, the Angel City vs. Utah game should not have been released last Friday night.” “Health and welfare of the entire NWSL community is our top priority, and the game moving forward in any similar position should be abandoned and will be abandoned.”
King was the number 2 pick in the 2024 NWSL draft out of Northern Carolina. He was traded at Offsen from Bay FC in the hometown Angel City.
