Nut match franchise record in Slugfest Win vs. Angels

In the seventh innings, Brady House’s Tybreaking RBI Double helped Washington National to win the 15–9 return to Los Angeles Angels in California on Friday.

Each citizen batsman made at least one hit and went into at least one run, scoring eight of them at least once. On Friday, only the second time in the history of the franchise was marked, where all nine batsmen batted in one run. The other examples were against Okland athletics on 2 June 2017.

CJ Abrams, Louis Garcia Junior and Nathaniel Lowe all went to 3 -for -6, with Garcia and Love driving in each of the two. House 2 -for -4 ended. Zach Neto hit a pinch-hit appearance for Kevin Pneumon for Kevin Pneumon for Angels. This was the first appearance of a shortstop since Tuesday. He blocked his right shoulder while stealing 3–2 on Boston Red Sox. It was the same shoulder he had repaired in surgery, but an MRI did not show any harm.

However, Neto did not turn the pneumon into the field as Scott Kingary played the rest of the game.
