Number 1 Aryana Sabalenka opens French Open in the top form

Aryana Sabalanka left no question on why she is top seeds at the French Open, producing a 6–1, 6–0 victory over Kamila Rakhimova in Paris on Sunday.
Sabalanka needed just one hour to defeat Russian on the Clay Court of Rolland Garos.
2023 semi -finalist Sabalenka said, “I am very happy to return to Paris.”
“The first rounds are always difficult … but I am Super Happy to win and pass.”
There was no doubt that Sabalenka led the match after taking a 3–0 lead in the first set. In the match, he had five aces, replaced five of the 11 brake opportunities and hit 30 winners compared to nine for Rakhimova.
In addition, moving ahead in the second round, China’s number 8 seed, Kinwen Zheng, who won a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics in Rolland Garos. He defeated Anastasia Paviluchenkova of Russia by the finalist, 6-4, 6-3 of the 2021.
Zheng said that the Olympic achievement would run it throughout the French Open.
“This feeling is unforgettable,” he said about his victory in the Paris Games. “This is the best experience of my life so far. I will take the gold medal mentality through this tournament.”
Elina Switolina of Ukraine, number 13 seeds, also acted quickly to her opponent, beating Türkiye’s Zenp Sonmez 6–1, 6–1.
Other seeded players were 6-2 winners on Russia’s No. 11 Diana Shanider, 7-6 (3), Ukrainian qualifier Anastasia Sobobova. Number 16 Amanda Anisimova defeated another qualifier, Neena Stojanovic of Serbia. Anisimova was moving 6-3, 4–1 when her rivals retired.
Number 28 Seed Peeton Sarns was terminated in 6–0, 6-3 matches by Eva Lis, Germany.
Vikatoriza Golubik of Switzerland took the Wimbledon Champion Petra Quitova out of 3-6, 6–0, 6-4 twice. The check is coming out of maternity leave. Canadian teenager Victoria Mboko defeated New Zealand’s 2024 Wimbledon Quarter Finalist Lulu Sun 6–1, 7-6 (4) in its first Grand Slam match. It was the Rolland Garos Debut for Sun.
Others visiting the second round are Anna Bonders of Hungary, Emiliana Arngo of Columbia, Dayana Yastremska of Ukraine, Jill Tatchman of Switzerland and Qualifier Layer Romero Gormaz of Spain.
