
Taking advantage of receiving two games on opening weekends, NTMR defeated Spacecastation Gaming on Sunday, which became the first team to improve the Overwatch Champions Series North America 2–0 in Stage 2.
After sweeping the Sakura asports on Saturday, NTMR required four maps on Sunday to receive the Ilyos Control 2–0 to open the match. NTMR rebound with three direct win: Circuit 3–1 on Royal Escort, 3–2 on Surwasa Flashpoint and 144.16m to 53.27 m on runSappe push.
In the second match of the day, Geekay Esports shed Supernova in the first match for each team. Geekay took the ILIOS Control 2–0 to open the match, then won 1–0 at the Circuit Royal Escort and dropped it out from 131m to 97.82m on the runny push.
Tournament, played online, eight teams are included. The regular-season round robin will end on 15 June, with six qualifying teams to go to the double-elimination regional playoffs.
The top three teams will move forward in the Middarson Championship and North America Stage 3. The prize money has not been fixed yet.
Play resumes with the next Saturday starting from the week 2.
