Overwatch league NTMR and extinct, both opened the week 1 with a 3–0 win in Overwatch Champions Series North America Stage 2.
NTMR vacated the Sakura asports, while the extinction was followed against Dhildak.
Team Liquid also became stronger, defeated Spacecastation Gaming 3–1.
Tournament, played online, eight teams are included. The regular-season round robin will end on 15 June, with six qualifying teams to go to the double-elimination regional playoffs.
The top three teams will move forward in the Middarson Championship and North America Stage 3. The prize money has not been fixed yet.
