The final of the 2025 Indian Premier League will be held on June 3 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This decision is said that high level meetings for cricket in India have been taken after a series of high level meetings.
These scheduling and venue changes were mainly implemented due to the onset of the rainy season and a one-week suspension of the recent tournament amidst the border-limit tension between India and Pakistan.
The league was temporarily suspended on 9 May and was resumed only on 17 May. The final, originally scheduled for 25 May, was pushed back to more than a week from a week to 3 June.
This will be potentially the third time when the world’s largest cricket sector Narendra Modi Stadium will host an IPL final. The prestigious grounds first hosted the finals in 2022 and 2023.
