Pakistan star Jewelin thrower Arshad Madem has refused to comment on his staunch rival Neeraj Chopra, who was now trolled to invite Olympic gold medalist for NC Classic in Bengaluru due to recently ongoing border-border tension. The deadly terrorist attack at Pahalgam, a popular tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 people were killed, Neeraj took his invitation for the Pakistani throwers before extending his invitation, but the Indian Ekka was still criticized on social media.

“I do not want to comment about Neeraj due to the ongoing struggle with India,” Madem told reporters here.

“I come from a village and I would only say that I and my family will always stand with our army,” Madem said.

Neeraj secured the second best position for Nadeem at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Neeraj also echoed a similar feelings in front of the Doha leg of the Diamond League meeting on 15 May, stating that he and Nadeem were never actually close friends.

The NC Classic Jewelin event, which was celebrated on May 24 in Indian and initially determined in Bengaluru, was postponed earlier this month in view of military conflict with Pakistan.

Needam said he was targeting for a 100 -meter mark after his gold medal in Paris.

Pakistani Jewelin thrower said, “I have always said that I always compete with me and my ambition is to kill a 100 meter mark one day.”

He said that if Neeraj is doing well, “this is good for him”.

Neeraj recently came in Doha leg of the Diamond League meeting with a 90.23 meter individual-secret throw. There is something to dissolve the 90 -meter mark that he had been trying for more than five years.
