Nicholas Lodiro is farewell on Saturday night

Two -time MLS champion Nicolas “Nico” Lodiro will make his farewell appearance for Houston Dynamo on Saturday night.
The team confirmed that his home match with St. Louis City SC would be the last for the 36 -year -old midfielder with Houston.
A press release issued by Dynamo on Saturday afternoon stated that Lodiro would be recognized before the game and later made available to the media.
Several reports indicate that Lodiro would join the National, the club supported his original Uruguay while growing up.
Lodiro has a goal and this season has a assistance in 15 MLS matches (six starts), he is 10th in MLS.
Lodiro signed a one -year deal with dynamo in February, including a club option for 2026. He played his first eight seasons with Seattle sounders and spent 2024 with Orlando City SC.
He assisted Seattle to win the MLS Cup in 2016 and 2019 and the ConcacAF Champions League in 2022. He earned the MLS Best XI honor in 2018, 2020 and 2022. He was a finalist for the 2020 MVP Award and won the top newbout award of the league in 2016.
He has 43 goals and 240 career MLS matches have 12 assistance, in which 201 begins.
