NHL Roundup: Stars Edge Aclies in OT

Tyler Segin scored 5:31 runs in overtime, and Dallas stars defeated Colorado avalanche 2–1 in Danver on Wednesday night, so that they could steal the snow back of the house in their Western Conference quarterfinal series.

Jamie Ben also scored and Jake Outater removed 27 shots for Dallas, which extends seven-seven chains 2–1.

Valery Nikushkin scored and McKenzie Blackwood made 26 savings for avalanche, which could not capitalize on four minutes of power play at the end of regulation and at the beginning of overtime.

Damage spoiled the return of Colorado captain Gabriel Landskog. The left Winger had not played since lifting the Stanley Cup on 26 June 2022. A right knee injury required four surgery including cartilage replacement.

Connor McMachael scored twice and Logan Thompson made 14 saves in his 25 saves during the third period, as Washington visited Montreal and took a 2–0 lead in his first round Eastern conference match.

Dialon Strome scored a Go-Farward goal for Capital at the beginning of the second period, when McMachael tied the game exactly a minute after.

Christian Duorak scored his first goal of playoffs for Canadines, opening the scoring at 1:16 in the mid -period. Sam Montambalt stopped Montreal in the competition by stopping 29 shots.

Kings 6, Olers 2

Adrian Kemppe scored twice in a four-digit game and Az Copter scored a goal and Los Angeles led Edmonton for a 2–0 lead in their first-round Western conference playoff series for assistance.

Andrei Kuzmenko scored a goal and one aid, while Brant Clarke and Quinton Bifield scored each for Kings. Warren Foegley received two assistance and Darcy Kumper did 24 saves.

Leon Drassital and Victor Arvidson replied to the olers. Goalkeeper Stuart Skinner stopped 23 of 28 shots before pulling the midway through the third period. Calvin Picard made two savings in relief.
