NFL is kicking the season with cowboys in eagles

Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles will host rival Dallas Cowboy, when NFL will shut down the regular season of 2025 on NBC on Thursday, September 4.
The League announced the game on Monday, in which the full NFL schedule will be released on ET at 8 pm on Wednesday.
Eagles swept the cowboy in the last season and won the last three meetings at home.
The last time the NFC East rivals got in the week 1, on September 3, 2000, when Andy Reid gave Philadelphia coaching for a 41–14 win at the Texas Stadium.
Eagles proceeded 14–3 in the regular session of 2024 and rooted the heads of Canus City 40–22 in Super Bowl Lix.
Cowboy, who would mark the onset of the new head coach Brian Shotenheimer, ended 7–10 in the last season under Mike Macarthi.
NFL also confirmed that the peacock would stream on December 27, especially in the week 17 in the week 17. Those teams will be determined at the latter date as part of the late season flex scheduling.
