Nashville SC will put a nine-game unbeaten line in line on Saturday, when he hosts New York City FC in an Eastern Conference Battle.

Nashville (8-4-4, 28 points) enters third place in the Eastern Conference of Major League Soccer. In Gold, boys are at 6-0-3 runs in all competitions and 4-0-3 in MLS Play.

NYCFC (7-6-3, 24 points) is just four points behind Nashville, but in the eighth position in the eastern standing.

Nashville returns home after playing a 2–2 draw in the 2023 MLS Cup winner Columbus Crew on Wednesday.

Sam Surridge and Honey Mukhtar scored for Nashville, who won despite being out of 21–13 and finished with 38.1 percent ball possession. The crew requires a target by defender Jason Palasios in the 81st minute to earn a draw.

“Generally hard game,” Mukhtar told Tennesian. “Credit to the group, we fought the fight. I think it reflects the mentality of this group. If we are not at the top of a team, we still fight, and we are very difficult to break.”

NYCFC won the back-to-back home over the New York Red Bulls (May 17) and Chicago Fire (3–1), before its three-game unbeaten line was seen 3–0 on Wednesday by Houston Dynamo at the rainy yanki stadium.

New York, despite having a 62.2 percent of the ball owner, managed just one shot on a goal under sloppy circumstances, and that did not come until the 58th minute. Meanwhile, former NYCFC striker Gab Segal scored a brace, and Dynamo also scored his own goal from New York City Justin Hawk.

New York coach Pascal Jansen said, “We made nothing, nothing,” said New York coach Pascal Jnasen. “They really made it hard to us. They were very aggressive, very aggressive, defending a lot of bodies in the middle.”

It marked the third time in the last five MLS matches that New York was evacuated.
