He’s accounted for 4 of Boston’s 11 turnovers through the first two quarters. They were second in the NBA in turnovers with 11.9 per game during the regular season, but they still hold a solid 59-49 lead at the break.

Anthony Black chipped in 9 points on 3-for-6 shooting and 2 steals off the bench, but he and Banchero each have 3 fouls, so they’ll have to be careful in the second half.

Giannis coast-to-coast🏁💪

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a one-man wrecking crew for Milwaukee. He set the tone early for his squad, and he’s got 9 points on 4-for-4 shooting with 3 boards and 2 assists. Gary Trent, Jr. has been a great addition to the Bucks’ starting lineup tonight with 8 points on 3-for-4 shooting and one made 3.

🦌Bucks vs Pacers🏁Game 3 matchup

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been a monster for Milwaukee, averaging 35.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 65.1% from the field. The Bucks are still down 2-0 to the Pacers, but they’ll get their first taste of home court tonight (8 ET on ESPNU and NBA TV) as they look to get back into the series.

Damian Lillard scored 14 points (4-13 FG) and dished out 7 assists in 37 minutes in his first game since March 18. He struggled against Indiana in four games during the regular season, going for 18.3 points and 9.3 assists while shooting 35.5% overall. Game 3 will give Dame a chance to get right. Bobby Portis was awesome in Game 2 after a 4-point, 8-rebound showing in Game 1. He erupted for 28 points and 12 boards in 32 minutes off the bench, and another similar performance could be a deciding factor in tonight’s game.

Pascal Siakam has been a force for Indiana with 24.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals on shooting splits of 58.1% FG / 50.0% 3P / 100.0% FT in 33.6 minutes per game. He hit a clutch 3 when Milwaukee got to within two points in the fourth quarter on Tuesday, and the Pacers took control from there. Tyrese Haliburton had 21 points and 12 assists in the victory, and he’ll continue to be the driving force for Indiana’s offense.

Bucks’ starters

Doc Rivers will go with Gary Trent, Jr. over Taurean Prince in the starting lineup tonight.

🍀Celtics vs Magic🔮Game 3 matchup

Boston’s star forward Jayson Tatum is available tonight after missing Wednesday’s Game 2 win with a bone bruise in his right wrist. Jaylen Brown took over in his absence, dropping 36 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to secure the 2-0 series lead for the Celtics.

Unfortunately for the C’s, they still won’t be at full strength. Jrue Holiday, who’s spent time effectively guarding Paolo Banchero for stretches, is out for tonight’s contest because of a right hamstring strain. Al Horford will get his second straight start while Kia Sixth Man of the Year Payton Pritchard remains as a reserve.

Banchero and Franz Wagner have combined to score 58 points per game for Orlando, and they’ve scored or assisted on 83% of the Magic’s points in the First Round. The supporting cast around their dynamic young forwards have to produce more if they want to take a game on home court, or they’ll risk falling into an 0-3 hole against the defending champs.

Boston’s starting lineup

Magic’s starting lineup

Friday’s Playoff Storylines 👉📝

  1. Boston will almost be at full strength tonight when they visit the Magic in Orlando for Game 3. Superstar Jayson Tatum makes his return to the lineup after sitting out Wednesday’s 109-100 win because of a bone bruise in his right wrist, but the Celtics will be without their top perimeter defender in Jrue Holiday thanks to a right hamstring strain. Jaylen Brown was listed as questionable (right knee) but will be ready to go as his squad looks to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. The Magic have a chance to get one back on home court, and they’ll continue to rely on young stars Paolo Banchero (34.0 ppg in Playoffs – 3rd) and Franz Wagner (24.0 ppg – 14th).
  2. The Pacers take on the Bucks in Milwaukee for Game 3 of their series, with Indiana taking aim at a 3-0 lead of their own. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been unbelievable in both games so far, putting up an NBA Playoffs-best 35 points while shooting 65.1 percent from the field and 15 rebounds. Damian Lillard scored 14 points (4-13 FG) and played 37 minutes in Game 2 for his first game action in over a month. The Bucks need more offensive support if they hope to get their first win of the series against a talented, deep Pacers squad.
  3. Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves will try for a 2-1 series lead when they battle the Lakers in the first of two games at the Target Center in Minnesota. Ant is averaging 23.5 ppg but hasn’t quite found his shot yet, as he’s shooting just 40.9% from the field and 35.3% from three (39.5% 3P in regular season). Luka Dončić has been stellar and is second in scoring during the playoffs (34.0 ppg), and he’ll look to give LA a huge win in a crucial Game 3.
