The NBA released six, five-team groups for the third annual 2025 NBA Cup, which will tip-off on 31 October.
World champions Oklahoma City Thunder are in West Group A, Western Conference finalists Minnesota, Phoenix, Sacramento and Utah.
Milwauki box, who captured the 2024 NBA Cup, will compete with Charlotte, Chicago, Miami and New York in the Eastern Group C.
Each team will play two houses and two road games in group play, which will end on 28 November. The winner of three groups at each conference and a wild-card team per conference will compete in the quarter-finals on 9-10 December. The wild-card teams will be the team of each conference, with the best record in the Group Play Games that finished second in their group.
The semi -finals will take place on 13 December in Las Vegas and the championship game will be closed on 16 December in Las Vegas.
The quarter -finals and semi -final competition will be counted in the league standing. The teams not out of the group stage will have two games vs other squads that were not eligible. Those games will also be counted in league standing, but will not do the championship game (and figures from that game).
Bux defeated Thunder to capture the 2024 NBA Cup, while Los Angeles lases knocked Indiana pacers to win the opening version in 2023.
A complete program will be announced in August when the league will unveil the entire 2025-26 NBA slate.
