Nationals James Wood is committed to the latest home run darby

Washington National Slogger James Wood will bring his huge power on a big stage, which will become the third player to be committed to the 14 July home run darby in Atlanta.

The 22 -year -old Wood has given 22 domestic runs in 86 matches during his first full Major League season. He was obtained by Washington in 2022 as a package of top possibilities, sent to Juan Soto to San Diego Padress.

Wood announced a commitment in the video, hitting her record 714th home run in 1974, with a video clip of former Atlanta Braves Star Hack Aaron, with a video Montaz on Instagram. The video included the words, “Derby Bound.”

Seattle Meriners Cal Rale and Ronald Ekuna Junior of Braves have also committed to the event, in which five more participants are still named.

Rale, who will become the first catcher to win the event, has a leading league 33 domestic runs. Ekuna has nine domestic runs in 36 matches, after returning from a torn ACL, which limited them to 49 games in the previous season.

Los Angeles Dozers’ defending champion Taser Hernandez has already said that he will not defend the run -in -law Crown at his home.
