Subscribe now!The story, although brief, was enough to calm fans and dismiss speculation that two Indian stars were not in good positions. Gill’s post served as a public explanation that there is mutual respect between the two players and the alleged stress could be exaggerated online.
The controversy began after a video clip from the toss went viral on social media. In the footage, Hardik Pandya extended his hand for a shake, but Gill appeared in the past without accepting it. The clip immediately attracted attention, many intentionally interpreted it as a snob. Adding the play, when Gill was rejected quickly in the match for 1 run, Pandya was seen celebrating animated, and further enhancing the story.
