Nasir Hussain Sled put Dinesh Karthik ahead of RCB’s IPL final

RCB is one of the few teams that are yet to win the IPL trophy in their 18 -year -old history despite making the final three times.
RCB went on to make their first IPL final since 2016, when they beat PBKS in qualifier 1 a couple of days back. And, as one of the best teams in the tournament this year, they have a chance to win their first ever trophy. But then, English commentators Nasser Hussain and Michael Atherton are a bit worried, as to what happens if RCB lift the trophy.
RCB in IPL Final After 9 Years
Rather, the major concern the duo have is, RCB mentor Dinesh Karthik will be “unbearable” if they go on to make history. “RCB have got through to the finals. If they win that, DK is going to be unbearable. One season as coach/mentor and he’s won it,” Hussain said in jest on the Sky Sports Podcast in a humorous tone.
Nasser Hussain Scared?
“He’s unbearable at the best of times, he’s going to be doubly unbearable. He’ll be like John Terry, at the front of the RCB trophy presentation holding it there with Virat Kohli,” Michael Atherton added. It is important to note that DK, in the past has been part of broadcast teams, that included Hussain and Atherton as well, and all share a good rapport.
Meanwhile, their opponents for the IPL 2025 are not decided as yet. On Sunday, PBKS will take on MI in the qualifier 2, to decide the second finalists. PBKS are also one such team, who have never won the tournament, ever since the inception in 2008. That said, it could all change on June 5, the night of the final, in Ahmedabad.
