Washington Mistics has recently been living on the shore, but it is worth it.
Mystic on Tuesday night visit Los Angeles Sparks, by narrow margin or not, will try to secure their first four-game winning streaks of the season.
His three-game winning streak includes a pair of two-point winnings and then 74–69 Triumphs in Seattle on Sunday.
“I think our team has done a great job in the fourth quarter since the start of the season,” said Mistics Guard Brittany Cyx. “I would say that we are especially full of confidence and confidence, on the defensive end.”
Washington (11–10) increased the decrease of 10 points in the fourth quarter and excluded Seattle from 27–14. Mistic won 3-for-14 on 3-pointers despite shooting.
Sparks (7–14) has also enjoyed a recent narrow win. His previous two wins have come up by two and four points, including a 92-88 domestic victory against Connecticut Sun on Sunday night.
Sparks coach Lynn Roberts said, “I never felt that the team was fed up or out of its flow.”
Kelsey Plum put 23 points and Azura Stevens had 21 points and 11 rebounds for Sparks against Connecticut. Stevens dried half of 10 baskets of sparks from the 3-point range.
Guard Rai Burel gave seven points from Los Angeles Bench in season-high 17 minutes. She was in her fourth game after six weeks of absence with injury.
“She has just become the Energizer,” said Roberts. “She pressures the rescue. I think she is getting in a drain.”
Sparks have won only twice this season, so they will try to win back-to-back over their home court for the first time on Tuesday.
“We are trying to make those habits,” Stevens said. “I think they will win.”
Plum has been a major scorer for Los Angeles in two straight sports for the first time this year.
Sykes have Washington’s top scorer in each of the last two matches, scored 19 points in Seattle. Mystic is 7-3 in their last 10 matches.
Kiki Irafen saw a double-dobbal for the seventh time on Sunday, setting a team record for double-dabbles by a crook.
This will be the first of the consecutive sports among the teams, although those matchups will be separated for a week due to the all-star break.
