Is MS Dhoni playing his last IPL? This is a question that is in everyone’s mind. MS Dhoni, under whom Chennai Super Kings won five IPL titles, answered the question (well, type). Ahead of the CSK match against Punjab Kings in Chennai on Wednesday, when MS Dhoni was about to speak in the toss, there was a lot of fanfare. Former New Zealand player Danny Morrison, commenting on the match, asked Dhoni to ask about his future.
“Does this mean, you must be coming for the next season?” Danny Morrison asked MS Dhoni.
“I don’t know that I am coming for the next game (laughing),” MS Dhoni replied. One of things is a proud factor. Most games you play at home. Punjab Kings won the toss and selected the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium for the field against Chennai Super Kings in 49. Prabhasimran Singh and Glenn Maxwell make way for Punjab Kings for Harpreet Brar and Suryash Shej. Chennai Super Kings are playing with the same XI.
After his struggle against Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab would be expected to win the race for the top four in the hope of winning.
Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer said, “We are going to bowl first. We will focus on our process. Our preparation is intact. Boys are in high spirits and are looking forward for a great game. Unfortunately it is unfortunate that he is a fragmented finger. Has not yet decided a replacement.”
