Talking about the match, the young Ayush Mahetre once again reminded everyone that it is one of the 20-people for the future with a 20-chain 43 that helped Chennai Super Kings Huff and Puff to a minor 187 for eight against Rajasthan Royals.

MS Dhoni’s team could have been in deep trouble, Developed Brevis (42) and Shivam Dubey (39) did not stop the innings from falling. Dhoni himself could manage a sedate 16 on only 17 years, which could fail to flourish late. His team had no end to the middle order crises.

The promising beginning was struggling to move away with Dewin Conway (10), Urvil Patel (0), and he had lost half the team within eight overs.

Passers Yudhivir Singh (3/47) and Akash Madhwal (3/29) shared six wickets between them.

Playing his fifth match of the season, Conway began with a fluent drive from Tushar Deshpande, mixing his length well, and defeating New Jonder’s bat several times.

Conway did not last long, offering Ryan Parag to Yudhavi Singh a simple catcher in mid-off. He accused the wicket but just managed to chip a good length ball.

Yudhwir hit again, sent back to Pratibha Patel, who had gone for a large shot, but failed to join, and Quena Mafaka caught a sharp on the shore of the circle.

Matre discovered two borders from Deshpande and transferred the scoreboard, which was barely hitting the deck.

Fans were happy to promote R Ashwin’s surprise at number four as the spin all-rounder broke the huts with a tremendous six towards the foot from Yudhvi. Mhatre also gained boundaries continuously as CSK scored 24 runs in that over.

The young man continued to bat in aggressive fashion, looking for a hat -trick of borders away from Deshpande, but Pesar had a last laugh.

Soon Ashwin departed and Ravindra Jadeja could not make any impact, leaving his feet to Dhruv Jurael, so that Yudhavi could be given the third wicket of the match.

The run rate was not an issue, as CSK was going close to 10, but half of the half of the batsmen was dug well before half the path.

Brevis came and South African knocked another impact, his 25 balls stopped CSK’s innings from falling.

Three sixes and two fours were abolished by Madhwal in the entry knock of Brevis. But before that, Brevis and Shivam Dube added 59 runs for the sixth wicket, with CSK in a hunt for more than 200 clans.

The audience was on his feet when ‘Tala’ Dhoni reached the fall of Protia Batter. CSK Skipper punished a full -length ball for a six from Ryan Parag, for the joy of fans, a lot came back to the stadium in the form of ‘Dhoni’ ‘Dhoni’ mantras.

Dube’s bats continued with the bat as the long left -handed batsman sent one from Vanindu Hasranga to the stand. However, late push never came.
