The Major League Soccer has announced that the competition between Austin FC and LAFC has been postponed, according to a statement between Austin FC and LAFC on Saturday evening, “the serious weather affecting the safety of travel in Central Texas”.
Since the flood continues to destroy Central Texas, MLS decided to postpone the regular-season game to start the CT at 7:30 am at the Q2 Stadium in consultation with local authorities.
Austin FC posted this note in the team’s X account. “Tonight the matchup with LAFC has been postponed due to the devastating weather affecting our friends, families and neighbors in Central Texas. Be safe, everyone.”
The game is expected to be re -determined, and tickets for the July 5 competition will be valid for the new date.
