
Major League Baseball announced that Chicago Cubes Minor League Anhuar Garcia was suspended for 60 games on Tuesday after a positive testing for a performance for performing substances.
According to MLB, 21-year-old Right-Hander conducted a positive test for methenolone, an anabolic steroid, in violation of the joint minor league drug prevention and treatment program.
Garcia, a native of Mexico, who is in its first season with the cub organization, is 1-3 this season with 5.91 ERA, 14 walks and 35 strikes in 32 innings in 32 innings in seven matches in the Erizona Complex League.
The cubs immediately made Garcia effective with suspension in the banned list on Tuesday.
