Ben Williamson went into the only run of the game with RBI double in the sixth. This was the second consecutive shutout for mariners who improved 4–2 on their seven-game homestand.
Pittsburgh Starter Mike Baroz trapped five runners in five runners. The right -handed batsman allowed three hits, spread to four and six. Pirates have lost two directly after winning six-game winning streak.
