Mitra secured historical nomination in Asports Awards 2025

The Mortal ESOTS Awards secures historical nomination for ‘Streammer of the Decade’ in 2025.

Naman Mathur (Mortal), co-founder of S8UL Esports and widely recognized as the ‘Face of Indian gaming and esports,’ has been nominated for the ‘Streamer of the Decade’ award at the Esports Awards 2025. Set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on August 10, 2025, this special Decade Awards edition will celebrate the individuals, teams, and moments that have shaped esports over the past ten years.

This marks Mortal’s seventh consecutive nomination at the Esports Awards. Since 2020, he has been nominated in categories such as ‘Esports Mobile Player of the Year’, ‘Streamer of the Year’, and ‘Esports Personality of the Year’. In 2024, he made history by winning the ‘Esports Content Creator of the Year’, becoming the first Indian to win in that category. This year, the 28-year-old stands tall as the only Indian nominee among high-profile names such as Ninja, Shroud, Tarik, Pokimane, IBAI, and more, solidifying his status as a global gaming phenomenon.

Known for his unmatched influence on Indian gaming, Mortal has amassed 7 million subscribers on YouTube and over 5.1 million followers on Instagram. His journey has inspired a generation of gamers and content creators not just in India but around the world.

His organization, S8UL, has also been instrumental in elevating Indian gaming content globally. S8UL became the first organization in the world to win the Content Group of the Year three times in a row at the Esports Awards and will also be competing at the Esports World Cup this year.
