Mitchell Johnson gives a subtle warning to Australian players, urges to choose security on money

IPL 2025: A lot of Australian players still have uncertainty; If he would have returned to India to complete the tournament that revived on 17 May.

IPL 2025 will return in just a few days, but then foreign players get caught in a dilemma, whether he comes back to the tournament. After the league stopped from 8 May, after military tension between India and Pakistan, there is always an uncertainty if foreigners return or not.

Cricket Australia has left the option for its players and some of them have already decided to return, while some of them have confusion over the return of them. Former Australian Pacer Mitchell Johnson wrote in his column for West Australian that if he was in this position, he would not have returned to play the remaining part of IPL 205.

He starts by writing, “Cricket can include mega box these days, but it is still just a game, and it has been brought into mind after the Indian Premier League gap this week. This week, looking at the growing military tension between India and Pakistan, and looking at the rising risk for struggle – the players do not understand that the players do not understand that the player does not understand.

Johnson said that safety needed to prioritize on a large rupee, especially on 8 May to the players caught in Dharamasala – where PBK took on DC. Alyssa Heli, Mitchell Starc’s wife described the terror that she was to pass through all that.

“Hearing about the challenges faced in those areas underlines only the need for caution. It is reported that players are weighing the potential risks and the wide implications of their decisions. Ultimately, the option should be that the option seems to be the safest and best for each person, rather than a franchise or a commitment to win a tournament.

“… if I had to make a call whether to go back to India and complete the tournament, it will be an easy decision. It is not one for me. Life and security is the most important thing, not paying checks. It is a personal decision. It is a personal decision. Anyone should be insisted to go back or it can be felt that it is very difficult to dominate, which is still difficult.

He ended only by saying that, once the situation decreases, these tournaments can go to bring happiness, but one should not forget the ‘big picture’. “Hopefully once the tension between the two countries decreases, both leagues can thrive again and bring happiness for countless cricket lovers. But we should not forget a big picture in all this.”
