Minus their major scorer, whitcaps become last RSL

Despite remembering a prominent player for injury, Vancouver Whitcap defeated Real Salt Lake 2–1 to run his unbeaten streak in six matches.
Jayden Nelson and Triston Blackman set the targets for Vancouver (8–1-2, 26 points). Salt Lake (4-7, 12 points) has lost three of their last four matches. Its goal came on a penalty kick by Diego Luna.

Vancouver was awarded the penalty in the 66th minute after diving into the feet of Edier Okampo in the penalty box in the 66th minute. However, Cabrals banned the rocket shot of Daniel Rios. Cabrals made five savings in the loss of 2–0.
