Minnesota United FC on Tuesday announced the signing of experienced defender Julian Gracle.
Inter Miami CF waived 31 -year -old German International before the move.
Gracel is subject to contract with Gracell Minnesota via 2026 with a club option for 2027.
“Julian MLS brings an impressive depth of the experience and the championship lineage to Minnesota,” said Chief Football Officer Khalid al-Ahmed. “He is a proven winner and contestant and we hope that he will contribute those qualities to our team and will continue to pursue our club in the rest of this season and then.”
Atlanta United (2017-19), DC United (2020-22), The Vancouver Whitcaps (2022-23), Columbus Crew (2023) and Inter Miami (2024–25) are 26 goals and 135 MLS matches (221 starts) with 26 goals and 13 assistance.
He was the MLS Ruki of the Year in 2017 and won seven titles, including two MLS Cups (2018, 2023) and a 2024 supporters shield with Miami.
Gracle contributed 12 assist and one goal in 32 matches (31 starts) in the previous season with Lionel Messi and The Herons, but this season appeared in a game for the new coach Xavier Masterano.
