Three -time American League MVP Mike Trout ran 1 -for -5 in his return from the injured list for Los Angeles, serving as a nominated hitter in the fourth innings. He did not play from 30 April due to a bone injury in his left knee, remembering 26 games.
Soriano (4-5) won three for the second time, spreading four hits and four walks. The right -handed batsman hit two and allowed only one runner to achieve the last second base.
