Michael Jordan joins NBC’s NBA coverage

NBC made a big splash on Monday, which announced that the Hall of Famer Michael Jordan would be a special contributor to the NBA coverage of the beginning of the decline.
Jordan on Monday announced via a video at NBC’s upfront, with a network with a announcement on social media.
NBC said in a post with X with a short video from Jordan’s play days, “A mythological addition to our team! We are thrilled to welcome Michael Jordan as a special contributor to NBC and NBA on Peacock.”
The 11-year agreement with the league starts from 2025-26 season. The network did not reveal the details about Jordan’s specific role. Regardless, it will mark its first TV role covering the league in any capacity since it retires with six NBA Championships and five league MVP in 2003.
The 62-year-old Jordan owned Charlotte Hornets since 2010-23 and in 2020 Cofounds the NASCAR team 23xi racing with Driver Denny Hamilin.
NBC is returning to NBA coverage for the first time since 2002.
