In the third innings of his home game against Atlanta Braves, he was helped to exclude New York Mets from the field after starting the pitcher Griffin Canning on Thursday night after his left leg injury.

Canning threw a pitch to Atlanta Shortstop Nick Alan, which was ready for Shortstop Francisco Lindor. Planting his leg to return the third base, the canning fell to the ground and grabbed his left leg into the air. Met’s Catcher Louis Torrent waved for training staff and manager Carlos Mendoza, who was to participate in Canning before the out record.

Canning played 2/3 innings, allowing only one hit and fanning three to walk without any walk when he left.

Austin Warren finished the innings at the second place at Canning and retired Ronald Ekuna Junior at one pop-up.

The canning was enjoying the career season coming in the game, with a record of 7-3 with 3.91 ERA.
