Mets RHP Griffin Canning Heading for MRI on injured ankle

In the third innings of her home game against Atlanta Braves, after maintaining the left ankle injury, the pitcher was helped to exclude the New York Mets from the field to start the pitcher Griffin Canning on Thursday night.
After the game, Met’s manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters that the team believes that it is an Akilis injury and canning would have to undergo an MRI exam.
Canning threw a pitch to Atlanta Shortstop Nick Alan, which was ready for Shortstop Francisco Lindor. Planting his leg to return the third base, the canning fell to the ground and grabbed his left leg into the air. Met’s Catcher Louis Torrent waved for training staff and Mendoza and to participate in canning before being recorded out.
The right -handed batsman beat up a 2 2/3 scorer innings, causing just one hit and fanning three without any walk.
Austin Warren finished the innings, in another place on a popup on Canning and retired Ronald Ekuna Junior. Mets wound with a 4–0 win, and Warren won after a 2 1/3 shutout innings.
Caning has 7-3 records and this year is 3.77 ERA through 15. He has matched a career-hai win, and this era is the best in his six major league sessions.
