Mets’ Kodai Sengai saw Hamstrings in victory over national

Kodai Sangga allowed a hit in a 5 2/3 scorer innings before exiting a stressful hamstring on Thursday afternoon as New York Met’s extended his home-winning streak on Washington’s citizens to 10 matches to win a 4-3 win. The injury is sending Seng to the injured list, and he will have to undergo an MRI on Friday.

SEGA (7-3) allowed James Wood to a clean single in the competition to two batsmen and another Basarner. He first covered the base on a grounder by CJ Abrams to Basman Pete Alonso.

With one in the sixth, Seng raced to cover first. Alonso fielded the ball, but Seng threw a high while covering the bag.

Seng jumped to throw Alonso and immediately fell down. He was grabbing the back of his right leg and, after a brief consultation with the manager Carlos Mendoza and a trainer, the Seng took out of the game.

Mets were not threatened until the ninth when Washington killed three directly singles from Rhine Stannak and Luis Garcia Junior in a single.

Edwin Diaz replaced Stanak and loaded Nathaniel Lowe to the hideouts, gave an RBI single by Josh Bell and thrown a wild pitch, which allowed citizens to make it a run game before getting Diaz a 15th Save.

Soroka conceded four runs on three hits in five innings. He killed five, three went away and the third straight start was reduced.

Wood had three singles for citizens, who lost their fifth straight and fell 2–8 in their last 10 matches.
