Mets completed the historic four-game sweep of cardinals

Brandon Nimmo took a two-out RBI two-out RBI to Tie-out RBI Single in the seventh innings for hosts New York Mets, who completed the four-game sweep of St. Louis Cardinals with a 7–4 victory.

The Mates took a 3–0 lead before rally. They improve up to 15-7-Franchise tied to the third best 22-game start in history. Cardinals’ Char-Game Sweep was the first after 1986, when New York won its most recent championship.

The four-game losing streak tie a season-high for cardinals, which was excluded by New York in the series from 19–9.

Nimmo, hovering in a 3-far-23 recession, fell into a 1-2 hole against former team partner Phil Mattone, before he would sing the diving shortstop Thomas Saggiz to score Francisco Lindor from another.

Mates added major insurance to the eighth, when Tyrone Taylor doubled an RBI Blup before giving two runs double by Juan Soto.

Soto ended with three RBI, while Lindor was 3 -for -5 with a leadoff homer. Pit Alonso had a run-scoring single in the fifth. Soto, Taylor and Luisangel Ekuna had two hits.

Jose Bato (2–0), the third of the four mate pitchers, left the game to double Saggi before being out to win. Pitching in a non-service position, Rhine Stannak gave Lars Nutbar an RBI single in the ninth innings.

Alec Burlson began the return of cardinals with RBI Groundout in the sixth. Wilson Contraras had two hits.

Jojo Romero (1-2), the first Cardinals Reliever took a loss after recording one and allowed Go-forward run in the seventh.

Mets Starter Clay Holmes gave one run on four hits and six innings in more than six innings-His longest start since six inning outing for Pittsburg Pirates on July 14, 2018.
