Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso won their fifth game by Homard, Griffin Canning, and New York Met’s on Monday defeated Arizona Diamondback in Phoenix.
Erizona Starter Rhine Nelson (1–1) from Alonso’s two-run homer gave Mets a 2–1 lead in the fourth innings, and in the seventh, Ryan Thompson raised Lindor’s three-run shot 5–1.
Alonso, who sang, has four homes with four homes and eight RBI in his career against Nelson.

Nelson gave two runs on three hits with four walks and two strikes before leaving Lindor with one at the top of the fifth. Nelson, who threw four hitless innings of relief against Mets last week, made his first start of the season in place of Corbin Burns, which was abandoned due to correct shoulder inflammation. Burns is expected to start his scheduled on Friday.
Carroll stood the second pitch of Canning for a 1-0 lead in the right area. This was his third leadoff house this season.
