Boon said Cabrera avoided emergency surgery and went back to New York, where he was scheduled to look at an expert on Wednesday to determine the next stages.
“If and when they do surgery, they will go there and get a better idea when they are present there, and then we will see,” Boon said when asked when asked how long Cabrera could be out.
The conclusion of Wednesday afternoon series features a pair of right-hand in Yankis Will Warren (2–2, 4.75 ERA) and Meriners Louis Castilo (3-3, 3.95). Warren will face mariners for the first time; Castilo is 1-3 with 2.95 ERA in six career, which begins against Yankis.
