Seattle Meriners Catcher Cal Raili has been selected to participate in the 2025 home run darby, with Major League Baseball on Friday.

Rale will be seen to become the first catcher to win the event, which will be held on 14 July at Trust Park in Atlanta. He joined Brevs star Ronald Ekuna Junior, who is committed to the event as the first two players.

“I am excited to represent the mericious and our fanbase in the (Home run) Derby,” Rale said, who leads the Major with 32 homeers playing on Friday.

“It would be additional to me to do it in Atlanta, where I spent a lot of time to play baseball as a child.”

The 28-year-old Rale is the first catcher to reach 30 homers before the all-star break and also the first switch-hitter to fulfill the achievement.

His father, Tod Rale, will pitch the Meriners Star at the event. Tod Rale was the head baseball coach at Western Carolina University (2000–07) and Tennessi University (2008–11).

Rale is batting. 275 69 is scoring 58 runs in 79 matches this season.
