Meriners soked three homeers, Cruzes to win on Padress

JP Crawford worked on the first pitch of the game, Rowdy Telles and Cal Rale added long balls and the visiting Seattle Meriners topped the San Diego Padress 5–1 on Friday.
Seattle Starter Logan Evans (2–1) threw six scorer innings, which was the longest in his four major league outings. Jake Krronworth had two out of their second year before Jake Kronthanworth had a RBI double belt.
The former Meriners Farmhend Stephen Colek (2–1), selected in Rule 5 draft by San Diego in December 2023, was losers. He was coming out of a full game shutout on Saturday night in Colorado, which was the first by a visiting pitcher to meet that achievement in Denver since 2013.
Padress lost for only sixth time in 22 domestic games despite three-in performances from Luis Array. Manny Machao of San Diego went 0-for-4, ended the 14-game hitting streak, which was the second longest of his career.
Exiting 1-5 homestand, Seattle left for the fastest start. Crawford jumped on the first pitch fastball of Colek and rolled it at an estimated 357 feet distance in the seats of the right area for his fourth Homer of the Year.
Telles made it 3–0 in the fourth. Cal Rale walked an-out, and with two outsiders, Telles picked up a sweeper, swept away in the middle of the plate and burst into seats in seats, his seventh homer of the season.
Raley placed his 14th Homer in sixth place, taking a two-run shot to the left-center after the leadoff single of Julio Rodriguez. Colec left Randy Arzrena after allowing Azrena to do an informed hit, scoring five runs on eight hits and traveled to a walk in a five-flour innings with four strikes.
Meanwhile, Evans was able to get important outs despite working around traffic in every innings. He ran away from two-two, no-out spots in the third, hitting Machao in a double play, then killed Jackson Merril.
In the fourth, Evans inspired a lineout from Alias Diaz to Strand Krronworth after two-out triple. After doubling with two outsiders of Eraz, he got a groundout with Machao’s bat in fifth place.
