Meriners seek clutch hits in concluding against de-back

Erizona Diamondback will aim for a second sweep in its last three series when they meet Seattle Meriners at the conclusion of the three-market set in Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon.
Mariners are looking for a clutch hit.
Seattle will send the team’s most consistent starter, right -handed Brian Wu, who are on the mound in an attempt to divert things.
Wu (5-3, 3.07 ERA) Diamondback will oppose the left-handed Eduardo Rodrigue (1-3, 6.70).
Meriners have lost seven of their last eight matches and 14 out of 20, and they have fallen to 500 for the first time since April 18, with a 10–3 defeat to Arizona in the second game of the series on Tuesday.
Seattle General Manager Justin Hollander told Siriusxm, “We are trying to find ways to work, and it seems that if a group steps in a given night, the other group is not able to catch its end of bargaining unfortunately,” SITINAL’s General Manager Justin Hollander told Siriusxm.
“Right now it seems that there is not enough contribution to all sides of the ball. And it happens.”
Diamondback won the first two games of the series with Homeers. Josh Niler hit a walk-off Grand Slam on Monday, and Arizona hit three homes on Tuesday and gave them five for the series.
“Really good win,” said Diamondback Manager Tori Lovullo. “This was not the place where your heart is getting faster for the last three or four innings. We are ready to win. We are air -conditioned for any kind of victory, but we have not won this type for a long time.”
Arizona had just 13–12 lead in the hit on Tuesday, but Mariners went to 1-for-12 with runners in scoring. In that case, the only hit in Seattle came to RBI single of Julio Rodriguez in eighth, when the game was already decided.
Wu has emerged as Meriners No. 1 Starter on a staff, which is affected by injuries to George Kirby, Logan Gilbert and Bryce Miller. Wu has introduced nine quality in its 12 outing and has not reduced by six innings in any presence this year.
Hollander said, “What does it do for a team (big).” “When you can rely on someone to go there every five days and in six innings, six really good innings, what does the bullpen.
“And knowing what it does for the crime, knowing that if we just support Bryan a little support that most of the bullpense can close at night, it is so valuable.”
Wu had four quality streaks that ended in their latest outing, on Thursday, Baltimore Oriols suffered a loss of 4-3. He conceded four runs on four hits in six innings.
The 25-year-old California native has once faced a diamondback, giving three runs in five innings of a no-nine in 2023. Alek Thomas Wuled 2 -for -2.
Rodriguez will start his second start since returning from a three -week tenure in the injured list due to shoulder inflammation. He gave two runs and six hits in five innings in Cincinnati on Friday and remained in line for victory until Reds raged and won 4–3 in 10 innings.
The 32-year-old veteran has picked the seventh innings only twice in the seventh innings this season, but with Burns for the season with Corbin Burns after Tommy John surgery, D-Back is looking for more length than his other start.
